The bug, which was fixed in 2015, connected each generated password to a date and time it was created on a user’s computer.👨‍💻🔍 With this knowledge, they began the arduous task of testing hundreds of passwords. After much effort, they hit the jackpot with a password created on May 15, 2013.💡🎉 Upon cracking the code, they accessed the wallet and retrieved the bitcoins.
