BTC itself is the standards of crypto, just like the US dollars is in fiat and BTC's value is inherently tied to a cashless world. Most governments aren't against BTC(except the US gov obviously), they're against its speculative nature, a lot of institutions are rooting for currencies tied to BTC to stabilize and be plausible to be adapted on a wider scale, especially etherium.
