• The "laser eye" flashmob originated in 2021, when the cryptocurrency community predicted bitcoin would soar to $100,000 this year after it had halved the previous year. The "believers" added "laser eyes" to their Twitter profile pictures, including Michael Saylor, venture capitalist Anthony Pumpriano and many others.

In a tweet posted last week, Saylor compared #bitcoin to a bank in cyberspace run by "incorruptible software," a bank for billions of people offering "global, affordable, simple and secure savings accounts.

Saylor also recently shared tips on Twitter on how to "embrace money. " All it takes, she wrote on X/Twitter, is to learn 12-digit numbers. The bitcoiner thus named the secret keys in #cryptocurrency wallets for storing bitcoins.

Earlier this week, Dan Tapiero, a major global investor and co-founder of Gold Bullion International and 10T Holdings, made an ultra-bullish prediction that he had discovered a driver that could push the bitcoin price above the $200,000 barrier in the near future.

That driver, Mr. Tapiero said, is concerns about the currency's weakness, caused by a "60 percent increase in the Treasury market" over the past five years. The investor said he remains bullish on gold, adding that bitcoin could break the $200,000 mark in the future due to this powerful factor.

At the time of writing, bitcoin was trading at $70,568, pushing back from the $ 72,700 mark.
