Celebrating Numerous Artist Spotlights onĀ Tezos!

In recent months, weā€™ve seen a surge in initiatives highlighting the immense talent within the Tezos artist community. Earlier this year, we started a weekly space on X called ā€œArtz Fridayā€, along with a ā€œGem of the Weekā€ thread. We also recently launched the ARTicle of the Month to recognize standout creators. However, there is far too much talent in our community to spotlight everyone, so today, we want to acknowledge the amazing community-led efforts shining a light on Tezos artists (if I missed you, my apologies, I will try to incorporate you in the next series). Thank you to everyone contributing to this digital art movement. Letā€™s take a moment to celebrate those building up and spotlighting the artists ofĀ Tezos.

PaulWhoIsAGhost & #TIAR (This Is AĀ Raid)

#TIAR is a Tezos-based initiative focused on collective action to uplift under-recognized artists. What makes this movement special is its emphasis on community-driven participation, emotional investment in the artists, and long-term engagement. Raids are spontaneous, democratic events that bring together a network of collectors who genuinely care about the artists and their growth. The ultimate goal is to build something lasting that ensures the community can continue to amplify artistsā€™ voices, allowing them to focus on creating theirĀ work.

Paulwhoisaghost is a force within the Tezos Community, so be sure to wish him a happy birthday (even though it was weeks ago). Itā€™s becoming a little inside joke that you are invited to join. While doing so be sure to follow him and check out his numerous popular ghost projects, bringing the community together more and more. Ask him about the ā€œWTF Is A Green Roomā€ if you wish to be invited to a wild DM group full of Tezos community members.

First Rain & LMTGT (Letā€™s Make Tezos Great Together)

The Letā€™s Make Tezos Great Together initiative, started by First Rain, is about turning words into action. It unites members of the Tezos community and helps organize and drive positive change. Collaboration is at its core, with a central Discord hub for brainstorming and an active X account. This initiative calls for teamwork, with plans to expand tools for organizing, including platforms like Trello andĀ Notion.

First Rain is a photographer, writer, music lover, and OG Tezos Community all-star. Check out her linktree to discover numerous artworks, writings, and more. Tezos Commons also featured First Rain in a past ā€œGem of The Weekā€ thread which can be foundĀ here.

The Night Train (WX8BK) Continues To Feature TezosĀ Artists

The Night Train airs every Tuesday night, hosted by Bits (@amossguido) and 1WheelWilly (@umbcrew). The space highlights artists in the Tezos community, giving them a stage to share their work. Originally dedicated to the WagmiWines project, the space pivoted during the bear market to focus on community support, becoming a consistent platform for artists to share their stories and connect with collectors ever since. Tune in every Tuesday night for casual yet educational good times with some of the friendliest people on the internet.

Bits also contributed to various projects including volunteer co-hosting for the TezCon event in Seattle for TezTones and serving as MC during panels. Night Train Co-Host Willy even donated a case of wine to the TezCon Event. They can also be found frequenting other community spaces, and adding to a vast collection of TezosĀ NFTs.

Brazilian Artists Are Back onĀ X

A few weeks ago, Tezos Commons published an article on X and Medium highlighting Brazilian artists in response to the social media ban. You can read that article here. We also noted other initiatives that were helping to spotlight Brazilian creators during that time. Weā€™re thrilled that the ban has been lifted, and our Brazilian community members are back on X. Letā€™s continue supporting these talented artists as they bring their rich, diverse culture to the forefront and remind everyone why Tezos is the digital commonwealth. Congratulations to our Brazilian Tezos artists on regaining access!

Objkt continues to solidify its role as a key player in the Tezos ecosystem, with a dedicated team of curators, developers, and community managers.
