As you can see BTC has had its biggest drop
of 20% since hitting a new record (73,700). And currently (66,200) is about 10% but ALT has dropped quite sharply before the upcoming BTC halving event. Due to the impact of the previous Halving, people are very scared. When Bitcoin first exploded in 2017, most of us thought it sounded like a scam and the bubble would burst
(something I don't seem to hear much these days). Bitcoin has affirmed its position in the financial market with quite attractive growth and promises to reach 100,000 USD in the near future.
