Apple plans to allow installation of third-party apps

Apple's "walled garden" ecosystem allows it to generate up to 30% of sales of iOS apps and services. However, Bloomberg says Apple plans to open up its ecosystem, which could make it much easier to work with blockchain-based apps.

According to Bloomberg, the company is still deciding whether to allow third-party apps to use its own payment infrastructure. If that happens, using internal cryptopayments will become much easier for iPhone and iPad owners. #apple #crypto2023
