default setting sucks😑

Let me tell you about a recent experience I had while trading on Binance. I usually play it safe, only risking a tiny portion of my money on each trade(0.1% og my capital) and using my liquidation price as my stop loss.

But this time, I decided to try trading a new token called $ENA , which I knew could be very volatile. I was prepared to lose a maximum of 100% of my investment, considering the risks.

Usually, my all trading pairs are set on ISOLATED, but this was new, and didn't notice that it was CROSS. And because of this my position was showing a loss of 400%😒.

Come on binance, why would someone trade on CROSS as their default setting?

So, it is very important to double check if it is Cross or Isolated.
