1. Buying HIGH and Selling LOW:-
For example- Sharad bought crypto when its price was high, let's take it as 150 and he sold it when it went to 50 hoping that when its price will go to 30, then he will buy it again and he will surely make profits. But what happens is its price starts rising again from 50 only. It does not go below that.
2. Not diversification of portfolio:-
People generally put their all money in a single coin and when it does not make profits for them, they claim the crypto market is not good and all. But on diversifying your portfolio, you can see different trends in your currencies i.e. if one coin is in loss, the other coin can be making you some profits. Thus, it somewhat balances your portfolio.
3. Buying Cheap Coins:-
People generally see coins worth 100 dollar and 200 dollar and buy them, but You should do proper research on that coin, check its circulating supply, and all other things. And then you can invest.
This is the last but the most important point, please keep this in mind.
4. Don’t fall for scams. No, Never. Be Aware of them. Make research, ask Questions Believe the Investment not the market.
