Synthetix's @arbitrum LTIP grant has been resubmitted today via Snapshot vote. We've worked with the Council & Delegates to reduce our ask to 2m ARB and made critical changes to align with feedback. @coinflipcanada, a @GMX_IO delegate, has supported (and posted) our proposal as a show of support for Synthetix on Arbitrum & supporting DEX Perps across DeFi. This critical endorsement from CoinFlip (GMX) highlights the importance of collaboration in growing the onchain Perps ecosystem. In these early days of bringing new users to DeFi, we must support one another to expand opportunities for all and effectively compete with CEX Perps. Currently, users can deposit LP collateral in the Synthetix V3 staking app in anticipation of Perps V3 rampup on Arbitrum. This is crucial for achieving a critical mass of LP collateral to support deep liquidity, open interest, and low fees for traders. The next tweet will provide information on where ARB delegates can vote and access our revised proposal, including the changes made during the LTIP process.

If you're holding non-USD Spot Synths on Ethereum Mainnet (L1), action is required! To support the migration to Synthetix V3, spot synth exchanges (and atomic swaps) are being deprecated on April 15th. If you hold sETH, sBTC, or other spot synths besides sUSD, swap them before this date. After April 15th, any remaining non-USD spot synths can only be redeemed via the L1 redeemer contract at the Chainlink price for sUSD. Spot Synths include sETH, sBTC, sEUR, sGBP, sJPY, and other non-USD spot synths. If you do not swap out by the initial deadline, the Spartan Council may begin applying a discount rate that dilutes the value of your spot synths. Additional announcements will be made before this discount rate takes effect. This change will help neutralize skew for stakers and make hedging easier for SNX stakers. It's a crucial step in introducing liquidity for sUSD and ramping up activities on Synthetix V3. Note: This change only applies to Ethereum Mainnet.
