A user of the Uniswap V3 platform incorrectly chose a token when creating a liquidity pool, resulting in a loss of more than $700,000 in a MEV transaction in 12 seconds. The user added $1.56 million of #BTC to the liquidity pool and received 1.56 million Curve DAO (#CRV ) tokens, which was estimated at around $850,000 at the time. #MEV bots sought to take advantage of this error, but more successful ones made a small profit after paying a huge fee.
