Lido DAO has passed the "On-chain Delegation and Representative Incentive Plan"
According to the official blog, on August 27, Lido DAO has introduced the "On-Chain Delegation and Representative Incentive Program" through Vote 178 and Snapshot voting. The program establishes a public representative platform, simplifies the governance process, and increases participation and decision-making transparency. The 6-month pilot representative incentive program will provide a total of $150,000 worth of LDO tokens to incentivize eligible active representatives. Token holders retain full control over voting and can override representatives' decisions. The program will launch on September 19 Beijing time and continue until March 18, 2025. Eligible representatives must have over 2 million LDO delegated on Aragon and Snapshot, and can receive up to $15,000 worth of LDO rewards every three months. To ensure the smooth operation of the system, a representative oversight committee will be established to evaluate the performance of representatives and distribute the incentives.
