According to Bloomberg, Hashed, a crypto investment company headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, has established a partnership with Hub71, a global technology ecosystem in Abu Dhabi. Hashed plans to introduce more Korean startups to the UAE, including those in the fields of fintech and digital assets. Hashed also plans to open an office in Abu Dhabi and explore fundraising opportunities in the UAE capital. Founded in 2017, Hashed manages approximately $700 million in assets and already has offices around the world, including San Francisco and Singapore. The company is actively seeking overseas expansion as the startup environment in South Korea has become increasingly challenging for a number of reasons, including difficulties in expanding the domestic market. Hashed is already helping some Korean companies with a valuation of more than $1 billion enter the Abu Dhabi market.
