According to TechFlow, on June 26, Worldcoin officially published an article on the X platform, announcing its cooperation with the Web3 infrastructure platform Alchemy, and plans to launch World Chain in the next few weeks or months.
Earlier news, the Worldcoin Foundation announced in April that it would launch a new Layer 2 blockchain World Chain later this summer to improve the efficiency of the Worldcoin project. The project aims to assign World IDs to users who are willing to prove that they are human by scanning their eyes, and currently has nearly 6 million registered users.
