According to ChainCatcher, a legal dispute is taking place between current and former employees of sports and entertainment blockchain solution Chiliz (CHZ), according to Nocut News. A former Korean employee, Mr. A, claimed that he worked at Chiliz from 2020 to 2022 and was promised to be paid in cryptocurrency, but failed to receive the payment as scheduled. After raising questions, he was not only fired but also sued.

Mr. A filed a lawsuit against people at Chiliz headquarters on April 19 this year. Chiliz stated that Mr. A provided false information to the media, which led to the report, and filed a civil damages and criminal defamation lawsuit on the grounds of breach of confidentiality. In April this year, Mr. A lost the damages lawsuit, but due to insufficient evidence, the prosecutor decided not to file a defamation lawsuit against him.
