According to TechFlow, Coindesk reported that investment management company Investcorp and digital asset securities company Securitize announced a partnership to tokenize funds through blockchain technology. The partnership will first develop tokenized funds within Investcorp's Strategic Capital Group (ISCG). ISCG was established in 2019, manages $1.5 billion in assets, and focuses on acquiring minority stakes in alternative asset management companies.

Anthony Maniscalco, Managing Partner of ISCG, said: "The collaboration with Securitize continues Investcorp's tradition of innovation in alternative investments. Tokenization technology will not only improve investment efficiency, but also usher in a new era of investment, enabling more investors to participate in GP equity strategies." Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize, also said that by tokenizing alternative assets, individual investors will be able to participate in investment opportunities that were previously difficult to reach.

Investcorp has been actively involved in the crypto field in recent years. In 2022, it hired former ING digital assets head Herve Francois to build its first blockchain fund, and has led or participated in financing rounds for crypto companies on many occasions.
