According to ChainCatcher, Narek Gevorgyan, CEO of crypto portfolio management company CoinStats, released a security incident update, saying that the security vulnerability was caused by hackers attacking the company's AWS infrastructure. Evidence shows that the attack was carried out by an employee downloading malware. The attack mainly affected a small number of users using CoinStats Wallet, accounting for only 1% of the total users. Gevorgyan said that he would provide support to the victims and was discussing it internally. He is currently waiting for the details of the law enforcement department to be completed and a detailed report will be released.

ChainCatcher previously reported that CoinStats suspended user activities on June 23 due to a security vulnerability. 1.3% of CoinStats wallets were affected, totaling 1,590 wallets, with a loss of approximately US$10 million.
