Industry giant MARBLEX chose Immutable to build a Web3 game center
1. Immutable announced a cooperation with Netmarble’s blockchain gaming platform MARBLEX. The partnership will see MARBLEX and multiple other large-scale IP titles migrated to the innovative Immutable zkEVM chain powered by Polygon, the first chain built specifically for gamers.
2. This cooperation includes the migration of the entire MARBLEX game platform and three existing Netmarble games:
• Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds: An MMORPG based on the original universe of Ni No Kuni, where real and fantasy worlds coexist, presenting a world filled with fairy tale-like animation, featuring colorful 3D graphics and high-quality cutscenes.
• A3: Still Alive: A dark fantasy open-world mobile game set in the post-apocalyptic fantasy world of swords and sorcery, combining the vast and vivid world of an open-world RPG with the extreme combat of battle royale.
• Meta World: My City: The sequel to the hit game Monopoly, which has attracted more than 200 million players worldwide; it features board game mechanics and the opportunity to own virtual lands and buildings in the Metaverse.
3. With the migration from the Klaytn Layer 1 chain, all MARBLEX game applications and tokens will only run on Immutable zkEVM, alongside the more than 330 games that have been developed on Immutable. With 1.8 million monthly active users, Immutable zkEVM offers non-custodial wallets Immutable Passport and Immutable Global Orderbook, making it the first choice for developers and players.
In addition, Immutable and MARBLEX launched an “Ecosystem Drive Program” to provide technical and financial support to developers, with $20 million in funding set aside.
