According to TechFlow, Ava Protocol (formerly Oak Network), the active verification service (AVS) of Web3 automation platform EigenLayer, announced the acquisition of blockchain data startup Openstory. The specific acquisition amount has not been disclosed. The acquisition was made before the launch of the Ava Protocol mainnet and tokens. The acquisition funds consisted of cash and Ava Protocol's yet-to-be-launched AP tokens.
The Ava Protocol is scheduled to be launched on the Ethereum mainnet as EigenLayer AVS within three weeks. After the mainnet is launched, Ava Protocol's native AP token will also be launched in 2-3 months.
