Germany Continues Where It Left Off for Bitcoin: Here is the Amount It Moved to the Stock Exchanges!

The German government continues Bitcoin (BTC) sales from where it left off.

An address that on-chain data and analysis platform Arkham labeled as belonging to the German government made a Bitcoin transaction again. The data revealed that this address moved 400 BTC to cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbase and Kraken on June 25.

The German Government transferred 1,700 BTC worth $110.8 million to Coinbase, Bitstamp and Kraken last week.

Germany's first Bitcoin transfer, made about 5 days ago, caused the price to drop by nearly 3% from $66,440 to $64,564 within a few hours.

The second transaction, which came days later, did not cause a decrease in the price for now, as the amount was small and it was expected.

According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin, which has lost 2% in value in the last 24 hours, is traded at $ 60,890 at the time of writing.
