According to the LinkedIn post, Carole House will serve as special advisor to the National Security Council in the White House. Here he will focus on "critical infrastructure policies" and the field of cybersecurity.

House said he was honored to take part in roles that are important to "shaping the future of secure digital economies."

Before that, House was one of the managers of Terranet Ventures, which also operates in the cryptocurrency industry. He previously advised federal agencies such as the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the National Security Council.

House has emphasized the importance of clarifying cryptocurrency regulations in his past statements.

Dave Grimaldi, one of the executives of the Blockchain Association, said that House's "pragmatic approach will be of great benefit to the Biden team."

Cryptocurrency competition is heating up

Cryptocurrencies have gained importance in the political arena as the presidential elections in the USA approach. Presidential candidate Donald Trump declared, "If you support crypto, you vote for Trump." Trump is also expected to perform at one of the biggest Bitcoin events this year.

During this period, the Biden administration also began to take a more positive approach towards cryptocurrencies.
