ZKsync introduces the "elastic chain" architecture in its 3.0 roadmap, which will transform ZKsync from a single ZK-Rollup to a network of multiple ZK chains. This architectural change includes resetting the ZKsync native bridge to a token vault to improve the link between ZK chains. At that time, transactions will only require one wallet confirmation, without the need for network switching or manual asset cross-chain. The project plans to run more than 20 chains on the mainnet by the end of 2024. (TheBlock)
