The cryptocurrency market was shaken by hacking cases last weekend. A cryptocurrency investor lost $11 million worth of aEthMKR and Pendle due to signing multiple Permit phishing scam links on June 23, according to data cited by on-chain security firm Scam Sniffer.

The address of the investor who was cyber-attacked was recorded as “0xfb…accfa” and the address of the attacker was recorded as “0x73…bb96”.

Arkham revealed that the victim of the cyberattack was a management representative of MakerDAO.

Other investors were also affected

There have been other investors affected by similar phishing scams.

The data revealed that an investor lost 3,657 Maker (MKR) worth $8.7 million and 2.56 million PT Ethena worth $2.4 million.

Recently, crypto portfolio tracking application CoinStats said that some iOS users were receiving scam reports and that there was a security incident directly affecting wallets created on CoinStats.

CoinStats stated that approximately 1,590 wallets were affected by this incident.
