PANews reported on June 23 that according to on-chain analyst Ember’s monitoring, CoinStats was attacked last night, and hackers pushed notifications containing phishing links to users through the application. About 1,590 wallets were affected.

The wallet that was most affected may be one belonging to Blurr.eth. 3,657 MKR (8.7 million USD) was stolen and sold on the chain by the hacker for 2,482 ETH. This caused the price of MKR to plunge from $2,462 to $2,280, a short-term drop of 7%.
