What is Dust?

In terms of cryptocurrencies, dust can be any small amount of coins or tokens. Typically, the amount is so small that it is often forgotten or ignored. Bitcoin is divided into 100 million satoshis, that is, one satoshi is 0.00000001 bitcoin. An amount less than a few hundred satoshis can be called dust. Often these amounts are less than the transaction fees required to transfer them.

If we talk about crypto dust on the exchange, then this is a small portion of the cryptocurrency remaining after trading. Most exchanges have minimum trading requirements and ultimately amounts below cannot be transferred.

Binance allows you to convert dust to BNB.

How to convert your dust?

To convert dust to BNB, go to funds and click on balances.

You can now see coins available for conversion to BNB

For successful conversion, the amount of dust should not exceed 0.001BTC

You can convert multiple coins at the same time. After selecting the coins to convert, the approximate BNB value will be shown.

Please note that this is an approximate value as the conversion to BNB is done according to the current market price at the time of conversion, which is the exact moment the “Convert to BNB” button is clicked.

After clicking on the “Convert to BNB” button, a confirmation window will appear.

Once you are convinced that your decision is correct, click the “Confirm” button. You will then be redirected to a page confirming that your conversion was successful.

This operation can be performed every 24 hours.

You can view your conversion history by clicking on the “Conversion History” button.

Please note that the feature is disabled for delisted coins.

Shortly after completing the transaction, you will see BNB in ​​your account balance.
