Meta Pool and the University of Zurich have advanced their joint initiative to promote cryptocurrency education.

Recently, the DAO closed an academic alliance with the Blockchain Center of the University of Zurich.

On June 12, the European institution recognized the work and trajectory of the DAO by granting it the status of official sponsor of the Deep Dive into Blockchain program.

The university explained that the DAO awarded scholarships in the amount of 10,000 CHF, allowing five students from Latin America to study in the institution's summer program.

Under the collaboration carried out between both parties, three students will participate in person on the university campus and three students will do so online. Student attendance will take place between July 1 and 19.

Recently, Meta Pool launched the first fund to support young students, with the aim of supporting the expansion of crypto projects located in frontier markets and encouraging them to venture into blockchain and the world of decentralized finance.

The goal of the fund was to provide entrepreneurs in Latin America the opportunity to develop and start working on their crypto proposals. The initiative was carried out through a grant fund made up of several rounds of financing known as mpDAO Grants, of which round number 7 is active, with a total of 50 proposals waiting to be voted on and approved for receive financing.
