The only positive net cash flow came from BlackRock's IBIT fund, the largest spot bitcoin fund by net asset value. IBIT saw positive net inflows of $1 million and recorded daily trading volume of $565 million on Thursday. Other funds from Ark Invest, Valkyrie, Franklin Templeton, WisdomTree and Hashdex recorded no cash flows.

Total trading volume of ETFs amounted to $1.16 billion on Thursday, down from $1.7 billion on Tuesday. Since launching in January, 11 bitcoin spot funds have accumulated a combined net inflow of $14.67 billion as of Thursday. The market was closed on Wednesday because it was a public holiday.

Bitcoin prices have fallen 1% over the past 24 hours to $64,600 at the time of writing, according to Bitcoin Magazine's bitcoin price page.

In ETF-related news, Australia's largest stock exchange ASX listed its first spot bitcoin ETF on Thursday. VanEck's Bitcoin ETF operates as a feeder fund providing exposure to bitcoin by investing in the US-listed VanEck Bitcoin Trust (HODL). While there have been spot crypto ETFs since 2022, the addition of a bitcoin fund to the ASX appears to reflect an effort to keep up with crypto ETF developments in the US and Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, US ETF issuers are working to launch the country's first batch of spot Ethereum ETFs. According to two sources, issuers received comments from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last week regarding S-1 forms for spot Ether ETFs. They are currently working to resubmit the revised forms by Friday.
