According to ChainCatcher, Coinbase officially announced on social media that the platform has become the first Solana ETP custodian in North America. As part of its cooperation with 3iQ Digital, 3iQ Corp plans to use Coinbase's institutional custody infrastructure to introduce Solana staking into the ETP field in Canada.
ChainCatcher previously reported that Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart posted on X that 3iQ submitted an application to launch the Solana ETF in Canada, planning to use the code QSOL. This is also the first Solana ETF application in North America.
