According to PANews, Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett commented on the X platform that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not yet charged Consensys with violations in the Wells notice regarding its MetaMask wallet with Swap transactions and staking functions. Consensys made the Wells notice public in April, so charges may be filed in the next few days or weeks.

Earlier today, Consensys announced that Ethereum had passed the test of the US SEC, and the SEC would not charge that the sale of Ethereum constituted securities trading.
