📢 Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile's parent company, will soon enter Bitcoin mining. "We will soon photosynthesize digital money," said Dirk Röder, head of web3 infrastructure and solutions at T-Mobile's Telekom MMS, and stated that they will mine Bitcoin. 🚀

Deutsche Telekom runs validators on networks such as Polygon, Q, Flow, Celo, Chainlink and Ethereum, and launched Energy Web Chain last year. The company said this chain is “the first public blockchain explicitly designed for the energy sector” and will create “a more decentralized, digitalized and carbon-reducing energy system.”

This step by T-Mobile boosted the morale of the Bitcoin mining community. However, the entry of such a large player into the arena raises the question of whether it will increase competition for existing miners who are already facing stiffer competition.

Do you think T-Mobile's entry into Bitcoin mining is positive or negative for the industry? We are waiting your comments! 👇
