ZkSync Defends Airdrop Measures as Binance Launches Its Own ZK Token Airdrop

#AirdropGuide

Ethereum's zero-knowledge layer-2 platform, zkSync, has been defending its criteria for the upcoming ZK token airdrop on June 17. ZK Nation addressed criticisms, explaining their Sybil detection methods to ensure a fair distribution. Sybil attacks involve one entity creating numerous wallets to farm airdrops. Despite using explicit detection and unique design strategies, some Sybil wallets were still able to bypass these measures.

According to ZK Nation, advanced algorithmic strategies used by Sybils make them difficult to detect. However, overly aggressive filtering could also eliminate genuine users. Their approach rewards organic users by assigning fewer points to low-funded wallets but boosts them if they exhibit human-like behavior.

Binance has responded to community concerns by offering its own ZK airdrop for those not eligible for the official one. The exchange will distribute 10.5 million ZK tokens to over 52,000 users who meet specific transaction criteria. Each eligible Binance user will receive 200 ZK tokens, and trading for ZK will start on June 17, with pairs including BTC, USDT, and FDUSD.

The ZK token is trading at $0.36 in the pre-market as per Whales Pro.
