Golden Finance reported that Michael Egorov, founder and CEO of Curve Finance (CRV), said that the recent UwU Lend hack had nothing to do with Curve Finance. Egorov explained that the hacker exploited a vulnerability in UwU Lend, not Curve. He suggested that UwU Lend revalidate all contracts and work with high-quality security auditors. At the same time, he clarified the misinformation about the destruction of CRV tokens, saying that this was false information released by fake accounts. Egorov also announced that he had fully repaid the $10 million bad debt triggered by the UwU vulnerability to ensure that no one was harmed.
