TechFlow reported that the Taiwan authorities today announced the establishment of a cryptocurrency industry association to promote industry self-regulation. The association will formulate self-regulatory guidelines to classify and grade virtual asset service providers. A total of 24 cryptocurrency companies have joined the association, with Titan Cheng, founder of BitoPro, as chairman and Winston Hsiao, co-founder of XREX, as vice chairman.
