According to TechFlow, Polygon announced that based on community consensus, it has created a community treasury that will unlock 1 billion POL within 10 years, about 100 million POL per year, specifically for builders.
The Season 1 Community Grants Program, overseen by a neutral Community Treasury Committee, will distribute 35 million MATIC to projects built on Polygon. Applications are open, and the open community funding framework will leverage professional grant allocators to allocate a portion of the Season 1 funding.
