According to TechFlow, OP Labs has released a fault proof on OP Mainnet, advancing decentralization to the first stage. It allows ETH and ERC-20 tokens to be withdrawn from OP Mainnet without a trusted third party, enabling users to question and delete invalid withdrawals. The plan is to expand the fault proof to other OP Stack-based chains, including Base, Metal, Mode, and Zora.

The second phase of OP Mainnet is to achieve complete permissionlessness and decentralization, managed only by smart contracts.
