Arbitrum has approved an investment of 225 million ARB tokens, equivalent to about $220 million, to boost video game development on its network over the next three years.
This initiative, called Gaming Catalyst Program (GCP), seeks to encourage the adoption of Arbitrum by providing resources to developers.
Subsidies for individual projects can reach up to 500,000 ARB. The proposal, supported by more than 75% of the Arbitrum DAO, underlines its intention to lead the blockchain gaming market.
