According to Wu, Ethereum Layer 2 protocol Loopring Smart Wallet suffered a security vulnerability attack a few hours ago. The attack mainly targeted wallets with only one Guardian, especially those using Loopring's official Guardian. The attacker initiated the recovery process, impersonating the wallet owner to reset ownership and withdraw assets.
Currently, Loopring has temporarily suspended Guardian-related and 2FA-related operations and is working with law enforcement and professional security teams to track down the attacker.
