(June 7, 2024) Asia's leading TON venture studio TONX and the TON Foundation recently held "The Open League Summer Bootcamp Development Training Camp" in Hong Kong and Taipei, which ended perfectly on June 2. The event attracted hundreds of developers from the Asia-Pacific region, with 12 teams from Taipei and Hong Kong participating in the competition. Special guests of the training camp included Anton Trunov, Tact Technical Director of the TON Foundation, and Alex Golev from the TON DevRel team.
As a connecting course to the TONX Accelerator Program, this training camp provides outstanding teams with the opportunity to enter the accelerator program. Selected teams will have the opportunity to receive up to $5 million in ecosystem rewards, gain exposure on the international stage, and receive marketing, technical, and business support from TON project founders and teams. The first phase of the TONX accelerator program closed for applications on June 3, with more than 70 proposals received, with GameFi (32.5%), SocialFi (22.5%) and AI (12.5%) accounting for the bulk.
One of the highlights of the training camp was that Dr. Awesome Doge, a member of the TON core development team and co-founder of TONX, revealed the latest TON roadmap at the event. He encouraged developers to take advantage of this training opportunity to develop diverse projects and support the growth of the TON ecosystem. He also announced that TONX will work with the TON Foundation to sponsor Asia’s largest TON event, The Open Summit (TON International Summit), which will be held at the Asia Blockchain Summit branch venue from August 6 to 8.
