According to Foresight News, LayerZero announced that it is integrating IOTA EVM into its cross-chain protocol to achieve seamless interoperability and communication with ecosystems such as Ethereum, BNB Chain and Optimism.
Foresight News previously reported that IOTA announced the launch of its EVM mainnet, a Layer2 solution that is fully compatible with EVM for the IOTA network. IOTA said that this version has undergone a lot of improvements, testing and audits since the first release of EVM on Shimmer in September 2023. IOTA EVM introduces features such as smart contracts, cross-chain capabilities, parallel processing, and enhanced security for miner extractable value (MEV).
