Odaily Planet Daily News: The FBI recently issued a warning that work-from-home job advertisement scams are on the rise. Scammers will proactively call or text potential victims to offer a relatively simple job, such as rating a restaurant or "optimizing" a service by repeatedly clicking a button. Scammers will even direct victims to a fake interface showing that they are making money (although they can never cash it out). When victims are instructed to pay cryptocurrency to fake employers to "unlock" more jobs, the money goes to the scammers. According to Statista, by the end of 2023, the number of remote workers worldwide will rise to 28%. (Cointelegraph)
