Odaily Planet Daily News Animoca Brands announced that its subsidiary, game publisher nWay, will release the Web3 multiplayer fighting game Wreck League in September. In the first season, Wreck League has reached an agreement with Yuga Labs to use the IP of Bored Apes, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club, and Otherside Kodas. Wreck League players will be able to collect mecha parts (NFTs) and assemble them to cast complete mecha character NFTs. In addition, nWay will also launch a Web2 free game (F2P) version of Wreck League that does not require NFTs to play. It will copy the core gameplay and combat mechanisms of the Web3 version, while adding F2P game features such as daily tasks, battle passes, and in-game stores.
