A member of the Shiba Inu team under the pseudonym DaVinci said that attackers are launching fraudulent tokens, falsely claiming their involvement with the Shiba Inu developers and the Shibarium blockchain. Fraudsters have changed tactics and are misusing Shiba State and Canine code, DaVinci warned. In addition, they publish advertising videos on social networks, indicating the official website shib.io in them in order to inspire the trust of potential victims.

“Be careful and do thorough research before purchasing any tokens. To be clear, Treat tokens have not yet launched. Remember: any projects claiming to be associated with us are trying to deceive you,” the Shiba Inu team announced.

“If a project doesn't hold up for several months, it was probably built on a bad foundation. Be wary of people who repeatedly fail at one project and quickly move on to another. Ask yourself: Does the new project have what it needs to succeed? Is there real demand for the supply? Can the community be called interested? Is there enough funding for the sustainable development of the project?” concluded DaVinci.
