Some JasmyCoin (JASMY) token holders probably think that the project has entered into a partnership with Apple. Over the course of a day, the coin increased by 20%.

According to a May 30 Reuters story, California-based CEO Tim Cook, at the request of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, agreed to introduce “My Number” national ID card functionality to the iPhone.

The solution collects all information about taxes and social security of citizens and residents of the country into a single register.

JasmyCoin is an ERC-20 token that is focused on privacy and data security. Members of the project's community have long claimed that this is the ideal solution for Japanese digital IDs.

In a press release last year, CyberTrust, which owns Jasmy Co., talked about working on the iTrust identity verification service and admitted possible cooperation with the Japanese government.

From May 2023, the My Number feature has been available on Android devices through the Mynaportal app. Another CyberTrust blog post says the company's technology "enables identity verification" when combined with this particular development.

Apparently the JASMY community decided that if the My Number feature came to the iPhone, then iTrust would also be integrated with the device.

“Announced literally by the [Prime Minister] of Japan. I’m not sure how much more reliable confirmation you can get,” a JasmyCoin supporter wrote on Reddit.

Official comments from representatives of Apple and JasmyCoin have not been published.

Recall that in April, the Hedera token (HBAR) grew by 110% after the tokenization of the BlackRock fund. Based on the announcement, the community decided that the largest asset manager had entered into a partnership agreement with the project.

However, the company later denied information about direct cooperation, which is why the coin fell by 30%.
