The Fantom Foundation has announced plans to launch the Sonic Foundation and Sonic Labs, which will be part of the Sonic blockchain, a high-performance blockchain expected to have sub-second finality.
The Sonic blockchain is an evolution of the existing Opera network and will be compatible with Fantom's existing FTM tokens on a 1:1 basis.
