Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency and blockchain infrastructure provider, continues its cybersecurity efforts in Argentina and the region, with training and collaboration workshops in the fight against illicit activities related to cryptocurrencies.

On this occasion, a two-day training was offered for 40 investigators from the Judicial Investigation Corps of the Argentine Republic, an investigative body that functions as a judicial police force and is the main consultant for prosecutors in the Public Ministry, in which they delved into in knowledge about blockchain technology, addressing practical aspects of crypto investigations, and sharing the mechanisms that Binance has to provide support for judicial investigations taking place in the country. Among those attending were agents from Cybercrime, Complex Investigations and Crimes against Public Administration; the deputy director of the Judicial Investigations Corps of the MPF CABA, Jorge Moreno; and the technological coordinator of the Technical-Scientific Department, Marcos Visani.

Regarding this initiative, Juan Bautista Mahiques, attorney general of the City of Buenos Aires, said: “It is crucial that our agents understand first-hand how cryptocurrencies work. “Blockchain technology offers us advanced tools for financial forensics, allowing investigators to follow the money trail, identify suspicious patterns, and obtain digital evidence to support investigations and prosecutions.”

The event, part of Binance's global training program, took place in Buenos Aires and was led by Jarek Jakubcek, Binance's head of law enforcement training and one of the world's leading cybercrime experts. , who was a pioneer with various educational projects on cryptocurrencies at the Europol Cyber ​​Crime Center (EC3).

This training is part of Binance's ongoing efforts to expand knowledge about the blockchain and crypto industry, while contributing to strengthening actions to prevent, investigate and combat financial crimes involving these assets.
