According to Odaily Planet Daily, a former employee who recently carried out a $1.9 million vulnerability attack on pump.fun claimed that he had been arrested and prosecuted in the UK and has now been released on bail. The former employee is named Jarett Dunn. He used his privileged position to access withdrawal permissions and undermined the protocol's system. Dunn claimed that he was detained overnight because the pump team claimed that he stole $2 million and conspired to steal another $80 million. He has now been released on bail and is receiving mental health treatment. Earlier news, pump.fun posted on the X platform that the attack was caused by a former employee who used his privileges in the company to illegally obtain withdrawal permissions and carried out a flash loan attack with the help of the loan agreement, stealing about 12,300 SOL (worth about $1.9 million).
