Media: Apple has agreed to integrate ChatGPT with the iPhone.

Apple has reached an agreement with OpenAI to incorporate Sam Altman's company technology into the iPhone, Bloomberg reports.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the parties are finalizing the terms of the agreement to use ChatGPT chatbot features in the future iOS 18 operating system update.

The tool will be integrated with new artificial intelligence features of the gadget, which Apple is expected to announce in June, claim anonymous insiders.

The company has also reached out to Google and its parent company Alphabet with a proposal to license the Gemini chatbot. Negotiations are currently in the discussion stage.

In April, Bloomberg journalists reported the resumption of dialogue between the California corporation and OpenAI.

It is expected that the next iPhone operating system will include several new features based on Apple's proprietary large language model. However, the corporation is also seeking partners to create chatbots.
