LayerZero is an interoperability protocol that aims to provide developers with the ability to build crosschain applications with modular security parameters with LayerZero Labs as a core contributor.
LayerZero Labs completed the initial snapshot for the potential airdrop on May 1. The project then took a firm stance against *sybil farming practices by requiring users to create multiple accounts in order to profiting from the auto-reported airdrop to have a chance to receive 15% of the reward that should have been received.
Collaborating with Chaos Labs and Nansen, LayerZero Labs is compiling a sybil detection report to ensure the integrity of the token distribution process. This report takes a close look at the weighted total number of user transactions across all LayerZero applications, sorted by *TGE (Token Generation Event), developers, and persistent users.
In response to user requests, LayerZero has introduced a new feature on the website that allows users to cancel sybil reports until 12:00 PT on May 18 (approximately 2:00 a.m. on May 19 Vietnam).
