Solana partners with Google Cloud
Solana Labs has entered into a partnership with Google Cloud. The goal of the collaboration is to introduce GameShift to Google Cloud customers. The initiative aims to accelerate the integration of digital gaming assets and user-generated content into Web2 games.

Solana is a high-performance blockchain platform designed for decentralized applications and cryptocurrencies. It aims to improve the scalability of the blockchain by introducing proof-of-history consensus in combination with the underlying proof-of-stake consensus in the blockchain. Solana's architecture allows for faster processing times with the ability to scale as the ecosystem grows, potentially up to 65,000 transactions per second. The native cryptocurrency SOL is used to pay transaction fees and participate in the network consensus mechanism. Its main goal is to provide fast, secure and scalable blockchain solutions.
