The surprising reason when the State Bank canceled the gold auction for the third time
According to the announcement of the State Bank, this morning, this agency will bid for 16,800 taels of SJC gold bars. This quantity is equal to the volume of previous bidding sessions.
The information has not changed compared to the previous session. The minimum and maximum participation volume per member is 1,400-2,000 tael, deposit rate is 10%.
The reference price given by the State Bank is 82.9 million VND/tael. The floor price - the minimum level for units to pay when bidding - will be announced by the operator at the time of bidding.
However, the bidding session was canceled because only one unit submitted a bid form.
This is the third time the currency operator has canceled a gold bar auction. The State Bank started bidding for gold bars from April 22.
2 out of 3 previous bidding times were canceled due to not enough units registering to participate.
A bidding session took place successfully but was "sold" by 13,400 taels. To date, only two units have won the bid for 3,400 taels of gold: SJC and ACB.
This morning, gold bars continued to rise at the highest price in history. Currently, businesses list the price of SJC gold bars at 83.2-85.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
