EigenLayer reveals plan for token airdrop 💸
The team published a 43-page whitepaper about the $EIGEN token, and here are the main findings 👇
• Airdrop is linear
• 15% of the token supply is allocated to airdrop.
• The token claim starts on May 10.
• There will be a few farming seasons.
• Only 1/3 of the airdrop will be claimable during the first phase of Season 1 for those who were restaking when the first snapshot was made (March 15).
• 90% of the tokens will be claimable on May 10 to eligible restakers.
• The final 10% of airdrop will be claimable in a second phase of Season 1 that will occur a month later.
